A Trail Through The Trossachs.

Photographs from a 4 1/2 day walk from, Drymen to Inverarnan.

Day one Drymen to Aberfoyle- 12 miles.

I left Drymen at midday on Wednesday May 9th,following the first day of the Rob Roy Way, a Scottish Long Distance footpath. It rained most of the day ,pleasant walking along a minor road and forest tracks, I arrive at Aberfoyle at 5pm,still raining, finally found a flat bit of ground to camp on,Up in a forest 2 miles from Aberfoyle.

Not an Ideal place to camp but needs must, as the rain drips of the trees all night, even after it had stopped, Great place though, surrounded by luscious green Mosses.

Day Two, Aberfoyle to Glen Meann, 12 miles,

After a bit of rain in the morning the day brightened up, the first 5 miles through the forest to Loch Venachar, across the Highland Boundary fault, in the Menteith Hills

Sign post on the shore of Loch Venachar, which I now followed due west for 4 miles down to Brig a Turk.
